In February, the Reynolds team were set a challenge of rowing 10,200 strokes, the amount required to row from our Waltham Cross National Distribution Centre (NDC) to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), in order to raise money for their charity.

Stationary rowing machines were set up around our NDC, and employees could take part in the challenge by rowing as many strokes as they liked and making a donation to GOSH. In addition, employees were encouraged to dress down in sports themed outfits for a day.

Not only did the team row the 10,200 strokes required, but we’re delighted to say that we raised a total of £500 for GOSH Charity!

Every day, 619 children and young people from across the UK arrive at GOSH for life-changing treatments, with patients, families and staff battling the most complex illnesses.

GOSH Charity supports the hospital and its patients by funding four key areas:

  • Rebuilding and refurbishment
  • Support for families and children
  • Research into children’s health
  • Life-saving medical equipment

Reynolds is pleased to support such a worthwhile cause. For more information on GOSH and the great work that they do, head over to their website at https://www.gosh.nhs.uk/ or if you want to get involved in raising money, there’s plenty of ways to do so at https://www.gosh.org/.
